Y-KNOT Missions is a Christian nonprofit serving in Cap-Haitien, Haiti, impacting over 2,500 people through a locally-led, holistic approach. With a team of 50+ Haitian staff, we serve people of all ages through education, healthcare, pastoral care, and community development programs.

From schools and adult literacy to agriculture, sports, and mobility aid, we are committed to addressing both spiritual and physical needs in ways that uplift and sustain local communities.

WHAT WE DO

At YKM, we prioritize locally led initiatives that empower individuals and strengthen families. Through education, job creation, and sustainable development, we are equipping communities with the tools they need to thrive for long term transformation.

Education

Through a Christ-centered curriculum, we offer quality education to the most at-risk youth in the communities we serve. Our Adult Literacy Program equips individuals with essential reading and writing skills, creating pathways to growing in confidence, pursuing opportunities, and leading more independent lives.

We offer mobility solutions for individuals with disabilities to improve their quality of life and restore a sense of independence. Each wheelchair or mobility aid is carefully fitted and provided alongside training and support for families. It’s more than equipment; it’s a doorway to renewed freedom, connection, and belonging within the community.​

​Economic Development

We equip families with tools for stability and growth through locally led, income-generating programs. Our Goat Exchange and Jordan Project offer training, food security, employment, and reinvestment into the local economy, while our Soccer League engages youth ages 7–17 in structured play that fosters leadership, teamwork, and Gospel-centered discipleship.

We provide local pastors and church leaders with the training, resources, and encouragement they need to serve their communities well. Through ongoing mentorship, practical tools, and connection with other leaders, they’re equipped to guide their churches with wisdom and love.
